I have been visiting Dai Dang Monastery for over five years.  It has changed my life.  Learning to meditate has been a wonderful experience.  The Sunday Dharma talks always inspire me to live a more compassionate life.  I am forever thankful that, after years of searching, I have found a spiritual home.

For so long I resisted a visit to Dai Dang Monastery. Buddhism? Karma? Reincarnation?  However, while going through a stressful time in my life, I decided that meditation would be helpful so I gathered my courage.  What a life changing experience this has been! The monks and nuns are welcoming and generous.  I come every Sunday for the Dharma class, meditation, and silent lunch.  Other times I’ll come visit for a peaceful stroll through the beautiful garden and savor the incredible view.  For me, Buddhism isn’t a religion – it’s a philosophy; a way of life.  I am learning how to stay calm and to live with compassion.  Dai Dang is truly an oasis for those of us with hectic, plugged in lives.  I feel so lucky to have Dai Dang in my life.

Immerse yourself in ancient Buddhist teachings that are completely relevant to our lives today. I’ve been practicing at Dai Dang for 14 years.
